3 Charged With Operating Marijuana Grow House In The Estates

Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three men and seized $114,000 worth of marijuana when they executed a search warrant at a marijuana grow house in Golden Gate Estates on Friday.

Yasmani Torna Pons, 25; Emilio Torna, 49; and Iran Gonzalez Torna, 47, all of 3745 Randall Blvd., were charged with trafficking in marijuana over 25 pounds and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Detectives with the Vice and Narcotics Bureau and members of the CCSO Special Response Unit executed the narcotics search warrant

Deputies found 36 mature plants in the garage of the home. Two additional plants were discovered in a room next to the garage. Deputies also found grow equipment valued at $20,000 and several thousand pounds of high-grade fertilizer.

The men were being booked into the Collier County jail on Friday afternoon.
