Deputies Search For Missing East Naples Man

Collier County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help locating an East Naples man who left his house to play golf Monday morning and hasn’t been seen since.

Detectives said Barry Lee Rackover, 66, left his residence in Fiddler’s Creek around 9 a.m. to play golf in his community. Records show Rackover’s vehicle was registered as leaving the community at 9:06 a.m.

Rackover has a medical condition that prohibits him from driving outside the community.

Detectives said family members have not heard from him since he left. It is unusual for him to be gone from home this long.

Rackover was driving a 2008 silver BMW 6 Series convertible with Florida license plate number AQZH72.
Detectives said Rackover is described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 190 pounds. He is mostly bald with some gray hair and has blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Rackover’s whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239.252.9300.
