CCSO, Community To Give Voice To Crime Victims

WHAT: Take Back the Night event

WHEN: Friday, April 26

TIME: 6 to 8 p.m.

LOCATION: Lowdermilk Park, 1301 Gulfshore Blvd., Naples

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with Project HELP to empower the victims of violent crimes during the third annual Take Back the Night event on Friday, April 26 at Lowdermilk Park.

Being subjected to violence is a harrowing experience that often inflicts both physical and emotional scars that can last a lifetime for the survivors.

CCSO and Project HELP are inviting the community to support survivors and give them confidence to move forward with their lives. An open microphone will allow survivors, their supporters and the general public to speak out against violence.

A clothesline project showcasing T-shirts designed by the survivors will be on display and the event will wrap up with a candlelight vigil. Admission is free.

For more information, contact Project HELP at 239.649.1404 or visit www.projecthelpnaples.org to learn about the services provided to survivors.
