Not sure if
you’ve properly installed your child’s car seat? Have your car seat checked or
fitted for free by a Collier County Sheriff’s Office child passenger safety
technician Saturday, Aug. 16.
CCSO will
participate in the Chase Life Memorial Blood Drive & Open House from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. at Big Corkscrew Island Fire Rescue Station 10, 13240 Immokalee
Road.
A certified CCSO
car seat technician at the event will work with you to make sure your child is
in the right seat and fitted properly, and that the seat is correctly installed
in your vehicle.
Florida law
requires parents to use a child restraint system. If children are not properly
restrained while traveling in a vehicle, they could easily be injured in a
collision or any other emergency situation.
