have spoken to Emily. She is safe. No further law enforcement action is
necessary.

Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Golden Gate Estates teenager.
Deputies say
18-year-old Emily Austin was last seen by her parents around 11 p.m. Sunday at
their residence on 27th Avenue Northeast, near Desoto Boulevard.
Emily was not home when her parents woke up around 7:30 a.m. Monday, which is
unusual, deputies said.
Deputies
said Emily is described as white, 4 foot 3 inches tall and 89 pounds with long
brown hair and hazel eyes. Emily is mentally handicapped. She does not have a
cell phone.
