"Don't let some turkey gobble your identity
this holiday.''
That is the theme of a free public forum
sponsored by the Collier County Identity Theft Coalition set for 10 a.m.-11:30
a.m. on Nov. 6 at the Community Room of the Naples Daily News, 1100 Immokalee
Road, North Naples.
A panel of expert speakers will advise who to
avoid being victimized and how to minimize damages if online predators are
successful.
Guests include: Collier County Sheriff Kevin
Rambosk; Carrie Kerskie, a private investigator, author and leader of the ID
Fraud Institute at Hodges University; Theresa Ronnebaum from the Florida
Attorney General's Office; Kim Lappin of the Internal Revenue Service; and
Naples securities fraud attorney Chris Vernon. Retired NDN editorial page
editor Jeff Lytle will moderate.
The capacity of the NDN Community Room is
limited to the first 150 people to arrive.
