CCSO To Host Free Health And Safety Fair

WHAT: Health and Safety Fair

WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 23

TIME: noon to 4 p.m.

LOCATION: Corkscrew Middle School, 1165 Oil Well Road, Golden Gate Estates

SUMMARY: The Collier County Sheriff’s Office will host its free Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Corkscrew Middle School in Golden Gate Estates.

CCSO has partnered with several local businesses and organizations to provide resources for families struggling due to economic hardship. Participating groups include the North Collier Fire Rescue, Bikes for Tykes, Collier County Emergency Medical Services, Florida Highway Patrol, Palmetto Ridge High School’s JROTC, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Naples Community Hospital. Deputies will also have the D.A.R.E. car, bounce house and rock climbing wall.

Kids ages 5-12 can bring their bikes to participate in a free bike rodeo where they will learn how to ride safely. Kids must have a helmet in order to participate.

Food, snacks and snow cones will be available.
