CHARGES: Trafficking in more than 25 pounds of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Collier County sheriff’s deputies uncovered 201 marijuana plants valued at $603,000 from an Estates home on Thursday evening.
SUMMARY: Investigators went to Garcia Verde’s home and got permission to search the house. Garcia Verde was home at the time.
Once inside, deputies say they found the 201 plants, an additional air conditioning unit, transformers, high-intensity light bulbs and irrigation systems commonly used in grow houses. The marijuana weighed 59 pounds.
