Two Charged In Knife Fight

Two teenagers were arrested Thursday after a knife fight outside Lely High School.

Alfredo David, 16, of 5439 Bryant Ave., was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Cesar Morales, 17, of 2700 Storter Ave. Apt. 9, was charged with battery.

Reports give the following account: David was walking home from school when a white Mitsubishi stopped next to him. Morales, a passenger, got out of the car and the two began to fight. David pulled a small knife from his pocket and cut Morales on the upper back and the right arm. Morales got back in the car, which then left the scene.

When deputies arrived David had blood on his face and a large amount of blood coming from a cut on his hand. He was treated by EMS at that location.

Deputies spotted a car matching the Mitsubishi’s description and pulled it over at 1000 St. Andrews Blvd. Morales was in the car, bleeding from cuts on his upper body. EMS was called and he was treated at the scene.
