WHAT: Junior Deputy Day
WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 9, 8:30 a.m. to noon
WHERE: Collier County Fairgrounds, Immokalee Road, 10 miles East of I-75

SUMMARY: More 2,500 area fourth-graders will take part in Junior Deputy Day on Saturday at the Collier County Fair.
The event, now in its 32nd year, treats youngsters to an entire morning at the fair, followed by a hot dog and potato chips lunch. The children will be chaperoned by youth relations deputies and other CCSO members. The visit takes place before the gates open for the day, which means the Junior Deputies have the fair all to themselves.
