The robbery occurred around 2:25 a.m. at Kangaroo Express, 1000 Whippoorwill Lane.
Investigators said the suspect, shown in these store surveillance photos, approached the counter and demanded money. He showed the clerk what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun in his waistband. He ran out of the store.
The suspect is described as white, 32 to 36 years old, around 6 feet tall and 150 to 160 pounds.
