Collier Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a man who was injured at the construction site Tuesday at the county’s government complex.
Someone at the scene called 911 at 10:19 a.m. and asked for medical help at the Courthouse Annex, 3301 U.S. 41 East.
The victim was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, where he later died.
The man’s name is not being released until his next of kin is notified.
No further information is available at this time due to the investigation.
