Deputies: Man Pushed Pregnant Girlfriend

A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday after deputies say he pushed his pregnant girlfriend and pulled her hair during an argument over the time.

Christopher D. Cabrera, 1351 Wildwood Lakes Blvd., Apt. 6, East Naples, was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant victim and resisting arrest.

Reports say Julie Reed, who lives with Cabrera, told deputies the argument began around noon when she asked him not to smoke inside their apartment. A reluctant Cabrera went outside to smoke on the lanai.

Cabrera asked Reed what time it was and she told him. About five minutes later he asked her again for the time and she told him.

A few minutes later he asked her for the time again and she told him he could check it himself.
Cabrera came back inside the apartment and yelled at Reed, telling her he was leaving to get a pack of cigarettes. She told him not to come back.

He grabbed her by the hair and pushed her to the floor. Reed, who reports say is three months pregnant, crawled to a chair and pulled herself up.

Cabrera grabbed her by the hair again, pulling her to the ground. He walked out of the apartment, leaving her on the floor.
