A 48-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after deputies say she kicked her pregnant daughter in the stomach during an argument over household chores.Maria Ochoa, 48, 3656 64th Ave. N.E., Golden Gate Estates, was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant victim.
Reports say Ochoa and her daughter Sophia Ayala, 27, got into an argument over who was responsible for picking up around the house.
Ochoa told deputies that Ayala called her a profanity at which point the argument became physical.
Ayala, who is eight months pregnant, told deputies that her mother attacked her unprovoked, kicking her in the stomach.
Ayala also received a laceration and scratch, which was bleeding, to her right eye, reports said.
