Joseph Fitzgerald, 67, 7240 Coventry Court, was charged with DUI, six counts of DUI causing property damage and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
Reports say Fitzgerald veered off Countryside Drive around 11:30 p.m. and hit everything sitting along the edge of the street. The damage started at 401 Countryside Drive and ended at 413 Countryside Drive.
When deputies arrived they followed a set of tire tracks that led to a wooded area down the street near the Coventry Court intersection. At the end of the tracks they found Fitzgerald sitting behind the wheel of his car. He was not injured.
A witness said Fitzgerald had told him he had come from “the club” and “caused a lot of mess.”
