Learn About Child Exploitation

You can learn all about child exploitation from experts in the field at an upcoming event at Cambier Park’s Norris Community Center.

Those who attend will find out how to spot child abuse, how to report a crime against a child and more. They’ll also learn about the profile of a typical child molester/predator.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Cambier Park’s Norris Community Center.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is sponsoring the event in partnership with the CCSO, the Collier County Board of Commissioners, Naples Police Department, Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, Project Help and Florida Coalition against Human Trafficking.

Space is limited for the free event. Attendees must register in advance by calling 566-5806 or sending an e-mail to mslabaugh@ncmec.org.

Cambier Park is located at the intersection of 8th Street South and 8th Avenue South.
