A Collier County man suspected something fishy when his fishing gear turned up missing after a long day on the water.
Reports say Alexander Bazydlo, 44, told deputies that someone went inside his garage and his truck, which was parked outside his house on Forest Lakes Boulevard, and stole his rods, reels and tackle bag while he got cleaned up and ate after a long day of fishing on Feb. 16.
A CCSO investigation revealed that a teenager who lived next door had stolen the gear even after his friends warned him not to, reports said.
Tyrone Willey, 17, 1404 Forest Lakes Blvd., was arrested Monday in connection with the theft and charged with three felonies _ burglary of an occupied dwelling, car burglary and grand theft.
