The Collier County Sheriff’s Office earned a Best Places to Work award from the county’s Economic Development Council on Thursday morning.
The EDC’s third annual Best Places to Work awards presentation took place at the Hilton Naples.
The CCSO was evaluated in the category for employers with more than 176 employees.
The program annually obtains information from local employers about how they attract and retain workers. Nominees answered a 40-question survey designed to measure achievements in hiring and retention.
Two employers were recognized in each of three categories. In addition to the 176 employees and higher category, winners were recognized in a class for one to 50 employees and a class for 51 to 175 employees.
