Deputies: Estates Woman Altered Prescription

A Golden Gate Estates woman was arrested Monday after deputies say she tried to obtain a narcotic with a fraudulent prescription.

Patricia Mosher, 29, 830 16th St. SW, was charged with forgery to obtain a controlled substance.

Reports said Mosher dropped off a prescription for penicillin and 25 Lortab pills at the Publix pharmacy at 11200 U.S. 41 North on May 16. The pharmacist was suspicious that the prescription had been altered. He contacted the office of Dr. Karl Korri, the physician who wrote the prescription, and verified that Lortab had not been prescribed, reports said. The pharmacist then called deputies.
