A 79-year-old North Naples man was arrested Thursday on felony charges after deputies say he pointed a loaded gun at his stepson during an argument.
Augustus Alston Fisher Jr., 821 Kingbird Court, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Arrest reports say Patrick Walsh, 63, told deputies that he and his wife arrived at his Fisher’s house shortly before 8 p.m. and Fisher started arguing with them. Fisher is Walsh’s stepfather, reports said.
Fisher told them he was going to get a gun and shoot Walsh, reports said. Fisher left the room and returned with a loaded handgun, which he pointed at Walsh, reports said.
Walsh was able to wrestle the gun away from Fisher, reports said. During the struggle Fisher fell and hit his head, reports said.
During a search of Fisher’s residence for more firearms, deputies turned up three other handguns and nine long rifles, reports said.
