A Naples Park man is facing felony charges after deputies say he beat another man with a gun over the weekend, sheriff’s reports said.Donald E. Lester III, 44, 514 110th Ave. N., was arrested late Saturday night and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery.
Arrest reports say Cullen Reiland, 25, told deputies that he and a friend, Lacy Dawn Tangredi, went over to Lester’s house to pick up Tangredi’s sister, Danielle Tangredi around 11 p.m.
Reiland waited outside while Lacy Tangredi went inside to get her sister. She came back outside a few minutes later without her sister, reports said.
Lester then came outside, holding a pistol, reports said. Lester rushed toward Reiland with the gun, telling him to leave.
Lester then hit Reiland twice in the chest with the gun and in the mouth, causing a cut inside his lip, according to reports.
