Collier County is a safe place to live.
Crime continued to decline for the first six months of 2008, dropping 2 percent, compared to the same period last year, preliminary CCSO figures show.
Sheriff Don Hunter credited CCSO partnerships with residents, business owners and chambers of commerce with helping crime decrease in our community as well as deputies' dedication to keep our neighborhoods safe.
