A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday on felony charges after deputies say he stole a laptop computer from the North Naples Country Club where he worked and then sold it to a pawn shop for cash.
Eric Louis Mazza, 8236 Ibis Cove Court, North Naples, was charged with grand theft, dealing in stolen property and defrauding a pawnbroker.
Arrest reports say Mazza entered the unlocked golf cart barn at Quail Creek Country Club, 13300 Valewood Drive, around 4 p.m. on Aug. 19 and stole an HP Pavilion laptop computer valued at $749.99.
Further investigation by deputies revealed that Mazza took the laptop to Capital Pawn Superstore, 1933 Davis Blvd., East Naples, on Aug. 20 and sold it in exchange for $175, reports said.
