A 31-year-old woman is facing multiple drug charges after deputies say they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside her North Naples home while a young child was present, sheriff’s reports said.
Barbara Longley, 1224 Rosemary Lane, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of narcotic equipment, both misdemeanors.
Arrest reports say deputies received information that Longley had illegal drugs inside her residence.
Deputies received permission to search the house, reports said. The search turned up marijuana and 10 methadone and Xanax pills.
Deputies also found a used syringe, a metal pipe, a prescription bottle that was fashioned into a pipe and an old razor blade, items all commonly used as drug paraphernalia, reports said.
A 2-year-old child was present inside the residence while deputies conducted their search, reports said. The child was removed from the residence by the state Department of Children and Families, reports said.
