Collier County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested Gerardo Guerrero, 47, in the beating death of a 32-year-old Immokalee man in July.
Investigators say Guerrero pushed and kicked Ramiro Hernandez in the head which led to his death on July 19, 2008. Hernandez was found on a bench outside of the El Periso Bar at the 200 block of West Main Street in Immokalee.
Video surveillance and eye witnesses to the attack identify the suspect as Gerardo Guerrero, investigators say.
The autopsy report verified that the beating lead to the death of Ramiro Hernandez.
Guerrero is charged with manslaughter and is currently in custody at the Naples Jail Center on separate aggravated battery charges.
