Deputies uncovered 35 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $105,000 at a Golden Gate Estates home over the weekend.
Francisco Noya Pena, 21, 4161 66th Ave. N.E., was charged with marijuana trafficking and possession of narcotic equipment.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Pena’s home on Saturday and found that three rooms on the east side of the residence had been modified to grow marijuana, according to arrest reports.
Water that was flowing from the garage and front door into the front yard had a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from it, reports said.
Deputies also found equipment typically used for growing marijuana such as additional cooling units, additional lighting and transformers, reports said.
The seized marijuana plants weighed 47 pounds, reports said.
