WHAT: Safety Fest
WHEN: Saturday, June 26
TIME: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Golden Gate Baptist Church, 2741 Santa Barbara Blvd., Golden Gate
SUMMARY: The Collier County Sheriff’s Office invites families to meet deputies and learn how they can help keep Collier a great place and a safe place during Safety Fest hosted by Golden Gate Baptist Church.
There will be festivities for the whole family including free demonstrations from the SWAT, Bomb, K-9 and Traffic Safety bureaus. Representatives from Collier County Emergency Medical Services, Golden Gate Fire Department and several local businesses will also be there to discuss their services to the community.
Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available at an additional cost.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children will be there so that parents can have their child fingerprinted and receive free child ID kits. These kits provide parents information about their child in the event he or she ever becomes lost or missing.
