The Collier County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a comprehensive roadside checkpoint Friday from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at 1700 State Road 82 in Immokalee. The goal of the checkpoint is to keep roads safe by identifying improper vehicle documentation and equipment violations.
Proper vehicle documentation includes valid driver’s license, up-to-date vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
CCSO reminds motorists that they should always make sure they have proper vehicle identification readily available when traveling.
