Youth Haven Art To Debut At CCSO Gallery

Artwork created by child residents of Youth Haven will take center stage as the next exhibit in the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Community Gallery.
The exhibit will debut with a public reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office administrative offices, 3319 U.S. 41 East, Building J., Naples. Music will be provided by the Naples Orchestra and Chorus.

Youth Haven is Collier County’s only emergency shelter exclusively for child and adolescent victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Many children come to Youth Haven – sometimes in the middle of night – because they are in grave danger. The artists whose works will be on display at the Community Gallery were moved by materials, methodologies and personal memories as a means of self expression.

The Community Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. The Youth Haven exhibit will run through March.
