McGruff was joined by deputies from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office’s East Naples substation at the Stars and Stripes Learning Center.
The kids, ages 3 to 6, learned what to do in case they are ever approached by strangers as well as other ways they can stay safe at home, school and out in public.
McGruff handed out a coloring page of himself for all the kids to color. When they finished, all the pictures were displayed on the daycare’s walls. As a reward for the great job they all did coloring their pages, McGruff had Cpl. William Pschigoda visit the kids Friday morning with popsicles.
