The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking motorists to be on alert for additional bicycle traffic along Immokalee Road and other neighboring roads Friday morning.
Bicycle traffic is expected to be heavier than usual from around 3:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Bicyclists will travel a 35-mile route starting on Immokalee Road in the town of Immokalee and ending near the intersection of Immokalee Road and U.S. 41 North in North Naples.
The route will take them to Camp Keais Road then through the town of Ave Maria to Oil Well Road and then back to Immokalee Road.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling these roads.
