CCSO Exhibit To Showcase Children's Paintings

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Grace Place to display a series of paintings by children inspired by world acclaimed artist JAMA.

CCSO will host a public reception for the seventh installment of the Community Gallery, an arts exhibit housed within the Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The gallery is located at the administrative offices on the second floor of CCSO headquarters, 3319 U.S. 41 E., Bldg. J., East Naples.

“Collaboration of Color: JAMA and the Children of Grace Place” exhibits the artwork of children who are involved with Grace Place, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching literacy, language and life skills to at-risk children and impoverished families.

The exhibit runs through July during normal business hours and is open to the public.

The exhibits featured at the Community Gallery rotate every three months. Opening receptions are held for each new exhibit to continually showcase the art and partnership of the participating organization. The Sheriff’s Office headquarters is a community building and welcomes all members of the public to come and view the exhibits.

The CCSO Community Gallery welcomes any local public service organizations interested in setting up a future exhibit.
