CCSO Back-To-School Safety Video

School is back in session in Collier County.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office reminds motorists that our roads are filled with cars and buses filled with schoolchildren, and that school speed zones are back in operation. Everyone in the community should be alert to children walking and riding bicycles to and from school. Also slow down at all school zones and areas where school buses are loading and unloading students.

All this week look for deputies in marked patrol vehicles and in unmarked vehicles with their emergency lights flashing parked at school speed zones, crossing guard intersections and other areas where large groups of students walk to and from school.
