CCSO, Community Help Collier Kids Have A Happy Holiday
Thanks to the generosity of Collier County Sheriff’s Office members and the community, the seventh annual “Celebrate With A Star” program was tremendous success.
An office at CCSO Headquarters was filled with packages wrapped in holiday paper. The packages contained Legos, Barbie dolls, children’s clothing, stuffed animals, and much more for deserving children assigned to the 20th Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem program in partnership with the Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida (VFK) agency.
There are more than 250 children living in Collier County who have been abandoned or are alleged to have been abused or neglected. Guardian ad Litem volunteers advocate for these children in the courts, the child welfare system and the community. Children in the program range from infant to 17 years old.
The presents will be distributed by volunteer advocates assigned to each child.

CCSO gives special thanks to all who contributed to “Celebrate With A Star” and wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
