Hundreds of fifth-graders joined deputies for fishing, volleyball and rock wall climbing during the Collier County Sheriff’s Office’s Junior Deputy Camp over spring break.
The free four-day camp drew around 850 fifth-graders to Camp Discovery at Florida Sports Park in East Naples on March 11-14.
The camp featured a variety of fun activities including field hockey, volleyball, air pellet shooting, rock wall climbing and fishing, while serving as a great opportunity for children to interact with deputies.
CCSO has partnered with the Collier County Junior Deputy League to host the camp since its inception in 1961.
