The Collier County Sheriff’s Office softball team reigned supreme during the 11th annual Southwest Florida State Attorney’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Softball Tournament.
The May 11 win at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers marked CCSO’s eighth first-place victory in the tournament. This victory also marked the fifth consecutive first-place title for CCSO.
CCSO defeated the Cape Coral Police Department with a 23-7 win.
Last year, CCSO won the championship game by beating the Lee County Sheriff’s Office 17-14.
