With identity theft on the rise, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office is offering a course to help protect your identity, your safety and your financial well-being.
The hour-long course is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 at the Professional Development Center, 615 3rd Ave. S., Naples.
The course is free and open to the public.
Lt. Chad Parker of the sheriff’s Financial Crimes Bureau will teach the course, which he said will focus on what people can do to minimize becoming a victim of identity theft.
No advanced registration required but seating is limited.
