Got plans for lunch? Cosmos Italian Café & Pizzeria, 536 U.S. 41 N., Naples, is giving a free piece of pizza and a soda to anyone who makes a donation to the Police Unity Tour or the Wounded Warrior Project during lunchtime today.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office has several agency members who ride and volunteer in the Police Unity Tour every year in May during Police Week. The motto of the Police Unity Tour is “WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED.” The mission of the Police Unity Tour is to remember those officers who have died in the line of duty, to raise awareness of those officers who have died in the line of duty, and to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum in Washington, D.C.
