The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a North Naples convenience store early Tuesday.
Deputies were called to Circle K, 13550 U.S. 41 N., shortly after 4 a.m.
Detectives said the suspect entered the store wearing a red bandana that covered part of his face. He displayed a firearm to the store clerks and demanded cash.
One of the clerks gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. The robber fled on foot southeast of the store.
Deputies on the ground, along with CCSO air and K-9 units, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Detectives said the suspect is described as white, in his 20s, around 6 feet tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a red hat with a black bill and white lettering, a black zip-up jacket with pockets, black shorts and red and black Nike shoes.
Detectives have released store surveillance images of the suspect.
