The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating an 11-year-old Golden Gate boy.
Deputies say that Gerardo Favela was last seen walking from Golden Gate Elementary School around 2:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
Favela is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches tall, 127 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple polo shirt, khaki shorts, black Nike socks and black Nike shoes.
Favela was supposed to get on a bus for an after school program but left the school on foot. Anyone with information on Favela’s whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300.
