Deputies have arrested Frank Cummings, 48, in connection with a North Naples bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning.
Through the investigation detectives identified the Cummings as the suspect. On Thursday evening deputies observed Cummings' vehicle and attempted a traffic stop near his Golden Gate home.
Cummings fled from deputies and rammed three CCSO vehicles before being stopped and apprehended at the intersection of 45th Street S.W. and Golden Gate Parkway. No one was injured.
Cummings is being charged with three counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, aggravated fleeing and eluding, unarmed robbery and violating state probation.
