SUMMARY: Iberia Bank is inviting the public to gather any outdated bank statements, checks, contracts, legal agreements, bills or other personal papers to be securely shredded on Saturday.
Shredding outdated paperwork containing personal information such as social security and banking account numbers is one way of reducing the likelihood of becoming a victim of identity theft.
Anyone attending the event can also check out the recently unveiled “ghost” and “taxi cab” patrol cars as CCSO representatives will also be available to discuss its latest traffic safety initiatives.
