Go On A Virtual Ride Along Friday Night With CCSO’s ‘Tweet From The Beat’

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is taking the community on another virtual ride-along.

In February, CCSO conducted our second ‘Tweet From The Beat’ event. Lt. J.J. Carroll tweeted, and the community responded with an array of questions and comments.

CCSO’s third ‘Tweet From The Beat’ is set for 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 2.

Throughout the event Lt. J.J. Carroll will be sharing what he sees and does with texts and photos tweeted from the field.

People following @CollierSheriff on Twitter will be able to ask questions and interact with Lt. Carroll.

Here’s how to go along for the ride: If you already have a Twitter account, follow CCSO. Our Twitter handle is @CollierSheriff. If you aren’t on Twitter, go to www.twitter.com and sign up. It’s quick, easy and free. Once you create your account, follow us at @CollierSheriff.

‘Tweet From The Beat’ is one in a series of initiatives Sheriff Kevin Rambosk has rolled out follow through with his pledge to partner with the community through the use of technology.
