UPDATE: Dietmar Schummelfeder has been located and is safe.

Deputies are searching for a 72-year-old man vacationing in the Fort Myers/Naples area who has been missing since April 25.
Dietmar Schummelfeder, who is visiting from Germany, was discharged April 25 from NCH Downtown Naples Hospital, 350 Seventh St. N., following a brief hospitalization. He has not been seen or heard from by family members.
Deputies said Schummelfeder is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and around 200 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300.
