Appointments, Promotions At CCSO

Sheriff Kevin Rambosk swore in newly appointed and promoted Collier County Sheriff’s Office employees at a ceremony May 6.
Sheriff Rambosk administered the oath of office to 36 new members at a ceremony at the Professional Development Center, 615 Third Ave. S., Naples.
Three recently promoted members were also recognized at the ceremony.

In front of their families, friends and new colleagues, these men and women affirmed to carry out their duties as deputy sheriffs. They will serve in a variety of positions including patrol, corrections, communications, and administration.

Appointments:
Nathalie Adames
was appointed to dispatcher. She was born in Queens, N.Y., and has resided in Collier County for two years. She is a graduate of Queensborough Community College, where she studied criminal justice. She previously worked at Bank of America.

Alexandra Arroliga was appointed to Corrections officer. A Miami native, she has lived in Collier County for 13 years.  She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she studied criminal justice and psychology.

Natalie Ashby was appointed a deputy trainee. She was born in Houston and raised in Collier County. She graduated from St. John Neumann Catholic High School and earned a master’s degree in forensics from Florida Gulf Coast University. She previously worked at Easter Seals.

Fritzler Bernagene was appointed deputy trainee. He previously worked as a Corrections Officer for CCSO and the Seminole Police Department. He was born in Haiti and moved to Florida more than 20 years ago.  He is a graduate of Hodges University, where he majored in interdisciplinary studies.  He previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Brent Biermans was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Columbus, Ga., and has lived in Collier County for four years. He previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Joshua Campolo was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in New York and has lived in Collier County for 13 years.  He is a graduate of Palmetto Ridge High School and is currently enrolled at Edison State College, where he is studying criminal justice.

Kerry Carment was appointed to Corrections officer. She was born in Tulsa, Okla., and attended the University of Tulsa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She served in the U.S. Navy. She previously worked as a social worker.

Michael Dalbey was appointed to law enforcement officer. He hails from Philadelphia and is a graduate of Bucks County Community College, where he studied criminal justice and accounting. He has 22 years of prior law enforcement working for the Douglass Township Police Department in Pennsylvania.

Jacob DiCarlo was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Silver Spring, Md., and has lived in Collier County for 21 years.  He attended Edison State College and Barry University, graduating with a degree in criminal justice. He previously worked as a lifeguard.

Stephanie Driscoll was appointed to assistant finance director. She was  born in Mobile, Ala., and has been in Collier County for 13 years. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Miami, where she studied accounting. She previously worked as finance director at Legatus.

Kayla Dunfee was appointed to Corrections officer. She was born and raised in Collier County and attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where she studied business management. She started with CCSO as a student clerk seven years ago and transitioned to become a jail technician.

Christopher Easley was appointed to law enforcement officer. He was born in Richmond, Va., and has lived in Collier County for six years.  He served in the U.S. Navy.

James Fleming was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Troy, Pa.  He graduated from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He served in the U.S. Navy. He previously worked at the Best Buy Distribution Center.

Justin Gibens was appointed to dispatcher. A Florida native, he graduated from Mariner High School in Cape Coral and recently graduated from Edison State College with an associate’s degree in criminal justice. He served in the U.S. Army where he was a human intelligence collector and was part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has five years prior experience in law enforcement.

Erika Gonzales was appointed to Corrections officer. She was born and raised in Naples. She served in the U.S. Air Force.

Hanser Gonzalez was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Cuba and raised in Naples where he graduated Naples High School. He previously worked at Naples Nissan.

Ryan Greeno was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Providence, R.I. He studied law enforcement at community college in Rhode Island. 

Rebecca Groendyk was appointed to law enforcement officer. She was born in Albuquerque, N.M. and raised in Bowling Green, Ky. She has lived in Collier County five years.  She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she studied communications and criminology.  She joined the Explorer program with the Bowling Green Police Department in high school and worked as a cadet with that agency through college.

Yilianna Hernandez was appointed to office specialist. She was born in Cuba and has lived Collier County for 10 years.  She attends Florida Gulf Coast University, where she is studying environmental studies. 

James Kleinheinz was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born and raised in Madison, Wis., and has lived in Florida for one year. He served in the U.S. Army for seven years as a military police officer.

Erik Knutson was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born and raised in Minocqua, Wis. He graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in criminal justice. 

Karlheinz Marimon was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Lima, Peru, and has lived in Collier County for 21 years.  He attended Naples High School and Edison State College. He served in the U.S. Army. He previously worked as a branch manager for Florida Community Bank.

Dehanys Martinez was appointed to Information Technology PC specialist. He was born in Cuba and has been in Collier County four years. He graduated from Hodges University with a computer science degree. He previously worked at the Collier County Health Department.

Kevin Morgan was appointed a Corrections officer. He was born in Monroe, Mich., and has lived in Collier County for 11 years. He served in the U.S. Navy. He previously worked as an audio video technician.

Cassandra Morris was appointed to dispatcher. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Edison State College with a degree in general education. She served in the National Guard. She previously worked for Securitas Security Services.

Michael Nakata was appointed to dispatcher. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania with a degree in political science. He comes to CCSO with 25 years prior law enforcement experience with the Twinsburg Police Department in Ohio. 

Lisa Ostberg was appointed to dispatcher. She was born in Connecticut and has been in Collier County for eight years. She previously worked at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission of Southwest Florida.

Daniel Rogers rejoins CCSO as a youth relations deputy after serving with the agency for 25 years. The lifelong Collier Countian attended Naples High School, Edison Community College and the University of South Florida, where he earned a degree in criminal justice.

Paul Saint Fort was appointed to Corrections officer. He was raised in Haiti and studied accounting at Broward College. He was previously a jail technician with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and presidential bodyguard in Haiti.

Melissa Sena was appointed to crime scene investigator. She was born in New Jersey, and has lived in Collier County for 10 years.  She graduated from Gulf Coast High School and is currently studying forensics and criminal justice at Florida Gulf Coast University. She previously worked at Sam’s Club.

Nicholas Sill was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Ohio and raised in Florida.  He studied political science at the University of Central Florida.

Samuel Soto was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born in Queens, N.Y., and studied literature at the College of Staten Island. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He previously worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Angela Speak was appointed to Corrections officer. She was born in Italy. She graduated from Lely High School and is currently studying public safety administration at Edison State College. She previously worked at Patriot Insurance Agency.

Thad Stevens was appointed to reserve deputy. He was born in Coldwater, Mich., and has lived in Florida for more than 30 years.  He earned an associate’s degree in fire science from Edison State College and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Hodges University.  He has prior law enforcement experience as an auxiliary trooper for the Florida Highway Patrol. He has been with Estero Fire Rescue for 14 years, currently serving as an engineer/paramedic.

Jamal Williams was appointed to Corrections officer. He was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. He graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He previously worked at David Lawrence Center. 

Christina Warrilow was appointed to Corrections officer. She was born and raised in Naples. She earned a criminology degree from the University of South Florida. She previously was a missionary in Central America.

PROMOTIONS
Joe Ellis
was promoted to the rank of patrol lieutenant of the Patrol Division. Lt. Ellis has more than 16 years of law enforcement career experience. His operational experience includes assignments in Corrections and Road Patrol. As a sergeant for more than eight years, he has demonstrated solid supervisory skills and leadership traits. He has earned a bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.

Paul Aliseo was promoted to the rank of Corrections sergeant. He grew up in Naples and graduated from Naples High School. He graduated from Edison State College. He began working at CCSO in the Naples Jail Center in 2003. 

William Gifford was promoted to the rank of sergeant in charge of training of the K9 Unit. He began his career with CCSO 1997 assigned to Corrections. He transferred to Road Patrol and moved to Vice and Narcotics, where he worked investigations and interdiction. He is a certified trainer and evaluator, instructing and evaluating K9 teams around Florida. During his CCSO career he has received the Gallantry Star, Lifesaving Award and the Purple Heart and numerous Command Recognition awards.
