Not sure if
you’ve properly installed your child’s car seat? Have your car seat checked or
fitted for free by a Collier County Sheriff’s Office child passenger safety
technician June 28.
CCSO will
join Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Rxcare Pharmacy for
a car seat safety check from 9 a.m. to noon at Eagle’s Nest Worship Center,
6920 Immokalee Road, North Naples.
Certified
car seat technicians will work with you to make sure your child is in the right
seat and fitted properly, and that the seat is correctly installed in your
vehicle.
The program
is free and open to the public.
Bilingual
fitting technicians will be available.
Florida law
requires parents to use a child restraint system. If children are not properly
restrained while traveling in a vehicle, they could easily be injured in a
collision or any other emergency situation.
