The Collier County Sheriff’s Office released
surveillance video Monday of two suspects in an armed robbery of a convenience
store in Golden Gate over the weekend.
Detectives said the suspects walked into Rose’s
Food Mart, 1808 Santa Barbara Blvd., around 10:15 p.m. Friday, just as
employees were closing the store for the night.
The suspects demanded cash. One of the suspects
was armed with a gun.
Once the suspects received cash, they ran out of
the store.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives said one of the suspects is described
as a black man about 5 feet 9 inches. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt,
black pants and a red bandanna on his face.
Detectives said the other suspect is described as
a Hispanic man about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt
and a facial covering. He may have acne-type scars on his face.
An investigation continues.
