SYNOPSIS: The
Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the Jewish Federation of Collier County are
partnering to make the holidays brighter for 90 deserving children and their
families.
A member of the Jewish Federation of Collier County who
wishes to remain anonymous has made a generous $9,000 donation so that the children
can team up with deputies and shop for their parents and siblings. The donor’s
goal is two-pronged: to help families in need enjoy the season and give
children an opportunity to interact and spend quality time with deputies.
During this media opportunity 45 Golden Gate students will
shop with deputies. Afterward, the children and deputies will enjoy snow cones
and popcorn at the Golden Gate Community Center, 4701 Golden Gate Parkway. A
simultaneous shopping trip is scheduled for 45 deserving East Naples students
and deputies who serve the East Naples community.
