Accreditation Commission Names CCSO Sergeant Team Leader Of The Year
Collier County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nicole Minick has been named Team Leader of the Year by the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission. The award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, mentoring and effective management of assessments while serving as the team leader. These individuals have served as the voice of the Commission during assessments, taking the role of facilitator and mediator, and providing excellent reporting to the Commission.
Sgt. Minick serves as the CCSO accreditation manager and is responsible for all agency accreditation processes. She has also served as an FCAC assessor since 2002, a Commission for Florida Law Enforcement assessor since 2013 and was also selected to be a team leader in 2013. The awards committee stated the following in her nomination, “Sgt. Minick consistently demonstrates the values and philosophy of the Commission and is always ready for a new challenge. Nicole produces well written reports that are detailed and a fair reflection of the agency. Her reports are submitted in a timely manner and she is always available to present her reports during panel review. Due to her expertise and accreditation knowledge she is often included in projects that cross all disciplines.”
