The Collier County Sheriff’s Office continues to be overwhelmed with the
outpouring of support from the community.
Now it’s our turn to say thank you.
CCSO has posted a video to show the agency’s appreciation.
In recent weeks members of the community have stopped by substations to
drop off food, deliver thank-you cards and present deputies with stuffed
animals. Along with that there have been organized events, such as a
well-attended rally Wednesday evening on U.S. 41 sponsored by the Collier
County 100 Club and Cosmos Italian Café and Pizzeria and a community
appreciation dinner the same evening at First Missionary Baptist Church in
Immokalee. On Thursday, students at East Naples United Methodist Church’s
Learning Center Preschool came to CCSO headquarters wearing superhero capes to
deliver care packages, cakes and thank-you cards and sing to deputies.
“We live in a great community,” said Sheriff Kevin Rambosk. “Having the
support of our residents, businesses and organizations means a great deal to me
and to the men and women of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.”
